Sophia Lusk is a paralegal at the Detroit Justice Center primarily working with the Legal Services and Advocacy team. She graduated from the University of Michigan where she studied English and History of Law and Policy. During college, Sophia helped found the Michigan Immigrant Justice Lab, a collaborative research project between undergraduate students, law students, and the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center.

After graduating, Sophia continued to work with the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center on the unaccompanied minors team and participated in a legal aid trip to assist asylum seekers in Tijuana, Mexico. Prior to joining the DJC, Sophia worked as a practice assistant in the Real Estate Department at Honigman LLP.
