Our attorneys have been asking MI courts to allow cell phones since last year — giving written and in-person testimony advocating for our clients and others — and yesterday we got a bit of good news from the MI Supreme Court! The MI Supreme Court determined that all MI courts have to allow cell phones starting in May of this year! While this may seem like a small procedural issue, it’s a big win for our clients and other court-involved folks. Congrats to the team and our many partners who fought for this!
