Navigating the Recent and Ongoing Changes in the Federal Government

      1.  ACLU Know Your Rights Guides: The ACLU provides a variety of KYR materials, especially around immigration, protests, and other civil rights issues here

      1. Immigration Legal Services: The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) created a directory here of immigration lawyers and nonprofits that can provide legal assistance
      2. Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA): Information about DACA eligibility, application, and renewal process here – especially in light of changes
      3. Deportation Defense Resources: NILC created a comprehensive resources for deportation defense here, including guides for individuals who are detained by ICE
      4. Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC): Offers specific KYR materials for immigrants here, including tips on how to navigate interactions with the police
