Are you a community development practitioner? A small business supporter? A community activist or advocate?
Compared to traditional businesses, co-ops are more likely to provide quality jobs for marginalized populations, benefit the local economy, and address community needs.
Come learn about how cooperatives be tools for community ownership and wealth building. In this workshop, participants will learn about cooperative businesses, how they can be avenues for ownership in Black and Brown communities, and meet professionals actively supporting cooperative development in Detroit.
We hope that everyone joins us this Friday from 9:30am-12pm on our ZOOM webinar. We have edited the event information so that you will receive a reminder with the call information, and it is also shared below.
If you do not have zoom, you can download it for free, or you can call in using your phone.
