Our ED Amanda Alexander will share the powerful story of DJC’s founding — turning personal pain into collective courage in the fight to end mass incarceration.

You’ll get to personally connect with three of our brilliant staff members, learn more about the different pillars of our work, and ask any questions.

Connect with Angel McKissic, Nancy Parker, and Whitley Granberry on transformative justice, movement lawyering, and housing/cooperative economics.

Plus, a surprise special guest will be in attendance!

Hint: It’s one of our community partners and they’ve made amazing progress this year towards abolishing prisons and policing and creating truly just cities. We can’t wait for you to hear their story.
