Carly Priehs is the Grant Officer for the Detroit Justice Center. Prior to this role, she supported human services and economic development nonprofits with database management, content development, and proposal writing. 

Carly brings a deep passion for circular models of sustainability and the redistribution of power and wealth to her work. She lives out these values as a founding worker-owner of Public Thrift, Detroit’s first anti-capitalist cooperative thrift store.

Carly is a Board Member of the Detroit Community Wealth Fund and a previous Marjorie S. Fisher Fellow. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts & Sciences and a specialization in Public Relations.
