We are seeking proposals from designers to produce DJC’s 2025 Impact Report in both digital and print formats. This engagement will include planning, design, and development in close collaboration with DJC’s Development team. Ideal candidates will be familiar with social justice movements and have experience visualizing data in digestible and compelling formats.

We strongly encourage people of color, women, LGBTQ people, people with disabilities, and individuals with past involvement in the criminal punishment system or who have loved ones currently or formerly in the criminal punishment system to apply.

We challenge you to inspire us with a design vision that is innovative and unique. The work we do at DJC challenges long-held systems of oppression, and we are looking for a design that feels liberatory, exciting, and joyful while also being extremely clear and functional. We want anyone to be able to look at the report and understand exactly what we do with ease.

Submit (either as a firm or as an individual) a proposal (two pages max) that outlines:

• Your approach for this project tactically as well as aesthetically.
• Your skills and past experiences designing/producing similar reports with visual appeal and informational graphics.
• An outline of your typical workflow for a project of this scope/span of time.
• Please also attach: Two to five samples of relevant work.
