Claudia Grimes is the Social Impact Digital Designer at the Detroit Justice Center. She graduated from Wayne State University in 2018 with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and a minor in Fine Arts. In 2019, she was a Keynote Speaker at the International Conference on Typography and Visual Communications in Patras, Greece. Claudia has had her art displayed in multiple art shows, and in 2018 designed Claratype, a complete font including 24 special characters. Prior to DJC she did social media marketing and graphic design for Busted Bra Shop, and was the General Manager of the Rochester Hills location.

She has been part of the Social Justice Committee at Sts. Peter and Paul since 2019, and assisted in the development of the immigration committee. There she has been involved in activism centered on the fair treatment of immigrants.
