Co-Director of the Detroit Cultivator Community Land Trust (DCCLT)

she/her

Natosha was first introduced to the nonprofit world in 2008 as an Executive Assistant, eventually becoming the Program Director of the AmeriCorps Next Steps Community Reintegration Program at Vanguard Community Development Corporation. While designing workforce development programming to assist returning citizens, she gained a passion for supporting marginalized populations, which ultimately led her to community activism and fund development.

Natosha also has experience as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program developer for the Council of Michigan Foundation, where she advocated for the inclusion of operational funding as a sustainable investment in grassroots organizations, encouraging grantmakers to prioritize equitable partnerships and to shift away from extractive funding practices. After a two-year break to welcome a beautiful daughter into her life, Natosha was honored to join the team at Northend Christian Community Development Corporation (NECCDC), which owns and operates Oakland Avenue Urban Farm, an essential community hub that promotes sustainable urban agriculture and community resilience in Detroit’s North End. Starting as a part-time Administrative Assistant, she later became the full-time Program Director in the fall of 2017.

In 2024, Natosha was invited to take on the role of Co-Director of the Detroit Cultivator Community Land Trust (DCCLT), an organization legally formed in 2020 under NECCDC, its parent organization, to advance equitable land ownership and development in Detroit's North End neighborhood.
